Many people ask what is Commission Hero about? In a nutshell, it’s about making $1,000 per day online with Robby Blanchard’s simple 3-step system. Within the system, you will be combining Facebook ads with Clickbank offers.
Robby Blanchard
You may be wondering who is Robby Blanchard? Clickbank says Blanchard is Clickbank’s #1 affiliate. An impressive accomplishment, when you consider that Clickbank has plus or minus 100,000 affiliates. A very impressive accomplishment indeed!
Commission Hero
Commission Hero is Blanchard’s online platform he founded to help others achieve the financial freedom he has achieved. Commission Hero says that by working a few hours a day, and using the exact same techniques Blanchard has used to become Clickbank’s #1 affiliate, success can happen for someone within the next 30 days (success described as earning profits of $1,000 per day or more).
Picture yourself, within maybe 30 days…
- Your bank account is growing.
- You can quit your 9 to 5 job.
- No matter where you are or what you are doing, you are making sales 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
- You are making big profits every day.
- You have attained financial freedom.
- You basically have a cash machine pushing out $1,000 per day profit, or maybe $3,000 per day profit.
It’s not free money. You work a few hours a day. Maybe you find the work easy. Maybe you find the work hard. But you still have plenty of time for golf, plenty of time for happy hour with friends, plenty of time for whatever you want to do.
You have become what I would describe as a member of the working rich. You still work. But you don’t overwork. And you can do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it, within reason. Not a bad life! This is what I see Commission Hero offering.
Cost
And what does Commission Hero’s offering cost? Basically, a thousand dollars once, or six hundred dollars twice within 30 days of each other. To be more precise, $997 once, or 2 x $597 within 30 days of each other.
My initial reaction to the thousand dollars or twelve hundred dollars was that is a noticeable amount of money to pay immediately or very quickly. That is what I would call a chunk of change!
Commission Hero would probably argue that the thousand dollars or twelve hundred dollars you pay is next to nothing. They would probably point out that you can make that much profit or more in 1 day. A good argument! But of course, there are no guarantees that you will make any money. The only guarantee is that you will spend a thousand dollars to find out.
Trustpilot rating
Trustpilot rates Commission Hero as poor, with 2.3 stars out of 5. As of this writing, Commission Hero has 6 reviews on Trustpilot. All 6 reviews are 1 star out of 5. 4 of the 6 reviews use the words scam or scammer in their reviews. The other 2 of 6 reviews don’t use the words scam or scammer, but the content of their reviews is equally as negative about their Commission Hero experience as the 4 that do.
This brings up an obvious question: How do you help thousands of people make thousands of dollars, as Commission Hero has said it has done, and no one writes a positive review about you? How likely is that? Not likely. In my opinion, it seems almost impossible.
I personally think Trustpilot’s 2.3 stars rating of Commission Hero is overly generous. Here is why. How do nothing but 1 star reviews become 2.3 stars overall? I would think it should be a 1 star overall rating.
And compare Commission Hero’s Trustpilot rating to Wealthy Affiliate’s Trustpilot rating. Wealthy Affiliate is also an affiliate marketing platform. Trustpilot rates Wealthy Affiliate as excellent with 4.9 stars out of 5. As of this writing Wealthy Affiliate has 516 reviews on Trustpilot. 92% of those 516 reviews are 5 star reviews.
Clearly, there is a huge difference between the excellent level of satisfaction people report with Wealthy Affiliate and the poor level of satisfaction people report with Commission Hero.
BBB rating
BBB gives Commission Hero a D rating. How good or bad is a D rating? Well just like in school, A+ is the highest BBB rating possible, and F is the lowest BBB rating possible. So a D rating is not good. Of the 13 possible BBB ratings, 10 ratings are better than D, and only 2 ratings are worse than D.
Again, compare Commission Hero’s BBB rating with Wealthy Affiliate’s BBB rating. As of this writing Wealthy Affiliate is rated A+ by the BBB. As mentioned earlier, that is the highest rating possible with the BBB.
My experience
The only fees or expenses I have found that Commission Hero mentions on its website are the $997 membership fee (or 2 x $597, no more than 30 days apart) and $10-20 per day to buy ads. I wondered if there are other fees or expenses a member would need to spend, or should spend, to maximize Commission Hero’s profitability?
So I messaged Commission Hero asking if there are other fees or expenses I should expect if I joined? I received an automated email back with no answers to my questions, only a link to more Commission Hero promotional literature and a webinar they encouraged me to attend.
More costs
I again messaged Commission Hero asking about other fees or expenses I should expect if I became a member. This time I received a real email back with answers to my questions:
- Maybe 3rd party tools, like ClickFunnels basic package at $97 per month.
- Daily Facebook ads budget of $20 per day. (Isn’t that $600 per month?).
- Optional supplemental resources, such as Inner Circle at $297 per month.
That chunk of change isn’t just growing. It has multiplied! What appeared to be a thousand dollars one time now appears to be an additional thousand dollars each and every month! The term money pit comes to mind.
Big question
And there is a big question about whether $20 per day for Facebook ads is sufficient to earn $1,000 per day profit within 30 days. Blanchard, on his website, says starting out he spent hundreds of dollars per day, even thousands of dollars per day on Facebook ads, often losing money, before he finally made $1,000 per day in profit.
So, which is it to make $1,000 per day in profit within 30 days? Is it $20 per day for Facebook ads or is it thousands of dollars per day? If $20 per day is sufficient, why did Blanchard spend hundreds per day, even thousands per day? And if $20 per day is not sufficient, why tell prospective members it is? HUGE QUESTIONS!
Also, I still wasn’t sure if I had been told of all the expenditures for tools and resources that are necessary or highly recommended. The wording in the last email Commission Hero sent to me made me wonder.
So I messaged Commission Hero a 3rd time asking if other tools and resources were also necessary or highly recommended, and what their cost was? The email I received back said basically that information is for members only.
Incredible! Commission Hero is basically telling me I have to pay them a non-refundable thousand dollars to become a member before they will tell me how much I will need to spend each and every month to try to make money with their program. Unbelievable! What an intentional lack of transparency! I definitely am beginning to doubt Commission Hero’s credibility.
3-Step System
Commission Hero says their 3-step system has been proven over and over again to psychologically force people to buy your offers.
Psychologically force…? Think about that for a minute. Would that be possible? Would that be legal? Would that be ethical. And do you believe them? In case you think I must have misread this claim, I will quote it from their website, word for word:
“The 3-Step System that psychologically forces people to buy your offers. This method has been proven over and over again.”
What do you make of a platform that makes such an unbelievable claim? Who do they expect to believe what I think is a bold and blatant lie, because it obviously is not an accidental misstatement? The only people I can come up with are those among us who are very trusting, very believing in their fellow man, and they need to make money.
Commission Hero may wish they could psychologically force people to buy. They may tell you they can. But obviously they can’t.
Maybe you feel differently about it than I do, but for me, this is where Commission Hero lost all remaining credibility. There is nothing Commission Hero can say that I can feel confident it is true.
My recommendation
So no, I do not recommend anyone join Commission Hero. Reasons are…
- Commission Hero’s Trustpilot reviews are all negative, not a single positive review, a poor 2.3 stars out of 5 rating.
- Most of those reviews use the words scam or scammer.
- Commission Hero’s BBB rating is D, a long ways from A+, and awfully close to F.
- Commission Hero is almost totally and apparently purposely non-transparent on how much money you need to succeed with their program. Huge, huge problem!
- Commission Hero wants you to believe you will be able to psychologically force people to buy from you. Sounds like snake oil to me.
